This was my 32nd year coaching swimming in Beloit, and by far this was one of my most gratifying. The last six years the Beloit Purple TIDE has grown into a total program K-12. I learned a long time ago that we never get anywhere by ourselves, our program has grown because of a lot of great coaches, parents, swimmers, and support personal.

So the TIDE has a lot of people to thank:
First and formost; the Parents, without you we would not have a program. You trust us with your children, bring them to practice, sit through practice, get your high school kids to 6am morning practice, help or cheer at our swim meets. We love the support and promotion you give our program.

Second; our Support Staff:
Chase Hankins Underwater Video Camera Operator
Robert Daniels Meet Video
Dana and Tim Schober, Dawn Poepping, Phillip and Denise Tolmie, Dave and Joylnne Garetson for our team breakfasts, organizing out of town bus food and team Banquet.
Katie Ziebert and Sarah Koth Yoga Coaches
Morgan Makinen, Lindsey Hassenfelt, and Cece Cardenas Boys Team Managers
Christian Daniels and Kevin Nguyen Girls Team Managers
Madeline Franklin and Lauren Gurholt Team Head Timers
Pearl Forbes Purple TIDE Super Fan.
Coach Kevin Schober and the Beloit College Swim Team for hosting our home meets.
Mike Kavenaugh Head Coach of the Beloit Aquatic Team.
Spencer Waite City of Beloit Leisure Services for supporting the Krueger Swim Team.
Chuck Seils BMHS Athletic Director
Cory Tadder BMHS Athletic Secretary
Karlee Liss BMHS Athletic Trainer, keeping the TIDE Healthy.
Mark Jeffers, Chad Tilley and the BMHS Maintenance Staff for keep our pool up and running, we know that this was a real challenge. The new pool will hopefully make your job a lot less stressful.

Speaking of the New Pool, the TIDE would like to thank the Tax Payers of Beloit for passing the referendum that is allowing this project to happen. This will be a community pool, bringing affordable lessons and other aquatic programing to the Beloit Community. The Tide is already hosting both Big 8 Conference Girls and Boys Meets. There are also 12-15 other meets scheduled for the new pool, bringing many people to our GREAT city.

Finally; the Purple Tide Coaching Staff:
Kim Waite Head Coach of the Lady Tide, Boys Assistant and Krueger Swim Team
Andre DeKok Head Coach of the Middle Tide, and Krueger Swim Team
Katie Detling Assistant Coach of the Lady Tide and Middle School Girls Coach
Jacob Truby Assistant Coach of both Middle School Boys and Girls
Lisa Moore Volunteer Coach Krueger 8 & Unders and Middle School Boys and Girls
