New Middle School Assistant Coach

The Purple Tide Welcomes Katie Detling as our new Middle School Assistant to Coach DeKok.
Katie is a second year teacher in the Beloit School District. She will assist the Boys and Girls Teams. She replaces Matt Christidis who will be going to school this year at UW-LaCrosse.

Bessell's at Monroe Youth Tri.

Cherrelle Phon (17), Jayda (7) and Amya (9) Bessell participated in the Green County YMCA Triathlon Saturday July 24th.
300 Swim, 5 mile bike, and 1.7 mile Run.
Cherrelle Finished 1st in the 15-17 age group.
Amya and Jayda Finished 1-2 in the 10 & Under age group.

Sill Family in Rockton Triathlon

Nathan Sill (9) did the swimming leg(300yds) of his families Relay at the Rockton Triathlon this past Saturday.
His Dad did the bike (15 miles) and his Mom the Run (3 miles).
As a Team the Sill's finished 6th in the Coed Team competition.
Great Job Sills way to represent the TIDE!!!

Jackson Prowes at State USS Meet

Jackson Prowse (11) swam at the Wisconsin USS LSC 12&U State Meet this past weekend. 
Swimming lifetime bests in both the 100 and 200 meter (LC) breaststrokes.
Jackson finished 21st in the 100 and 14th in the 200.
Great Job!!!

52 Tide swimmers swam in the Greater Rockford Open Today.
The team swam very well, with most swimmers coming home with a medal.
1st Places:
Jackson Prowes 11-12 50 Breast.
Christian Daniels 15-18 100 Back and 200 I.M.
Andre DeKok 19 & Over 200 I.M.
Joe Gracalyn 19 & Over 50 Free.
Ben Saladar 8&Under 25 Fly
Niall Gillan 9-10 50 Fly

Tide Great Swims at Boylan

Summer Tide had an outstanding meet against McGuire Aquatics.
Outstanding swims by many. 73 Purple Tide swim in the meet, this is the most swimmers representing Beloit in one meet in many years.
