1st Annual Beloit Invite GREAT Success

The TIDE had a very good day Saturday finishing 4th at the 1st Annual Beloit Invitational.
Team was fighting illness and was very tired, but had many strong swims. The meet's format was a mix of high school and college events. A meet like this shows your depth, talent and training. These are the kind of meets Beloit lives on. 

Caleb Schober had Beloit's highest finish with a 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke. The TIDE had many top 8 finishes, with 9 Different TIDE swimmers winning medals.

TIDE Swims Sun Prairie

The TIDE swam Sun Prairie last night dropping a tough fought meet 103-67, the TIDE JV won 74-59.

The score is not indicative how close the meet was, with the team swimming to many 2nd places. The TIDEs only 1st place came in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:45.55, made up of Chance Murray, Justin Stanton, Jason Schroeder, Morgan Poepping.

The TIDE has been dealing with a lot of illness this past week, with some their key swimmers missing many days or part days of school.

West TIDE Ladies Lose to Franklin

West TIDE Ladies drop a close meet to Franklin last night.

The TIDE was led by Heaven Wells with 1st places in the 100 IM 1:17.80 and 50 fly 33.68

East TIDE has record Day

East TIDE ladies down Janesville Edison 159.5 - 81.5.

It was also a record setting day as the new records were set in the 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays.

The 200 Medley was the team of: Olivia Makinen, Juliana Bennet, Sarah Roth, Amya Bessel 2:13.23
Breaks the old record set in 2004.

The 200 Free Relay team was: Juliana Bennet, Claire Santas, Sarah Roth, Amya Bessel 2:01.58 
Breaks the old record set in 2003.

The TIDE won all 9 events sweeping most and again dominating the IM and stroke events.

Beloit over came a DQ in the first event the 200 Free Relay and finished 4th at the Janesville Parker Relay the oldest continuos high school swim meet in the state of Wisconsin. 

The TIDE had many good swims with two third place finishes and many other relays finishing in the medals. 12 different TIDE swimmers won medals.

TIDE Makes West Earn It

The Boys swim team opened its season hosting Madison West. 
Though the boys lost we looked very good for the first meet of the season.

The team was led by Chance Murray's 1st Place in the 200 Freestyle with a winning time of 1:56.77

Other top finishes for the TIDE:
