Lady Tide 7th at Parker Relays

The Lady Tide Finished 7th out of 12 at the Parker Relays. They Revenged beating Parker after losing the night before. They also beat conference foe, Madison LaFollette.

The Tide had no DQ's and 4 of their relays came home with medals.

The Breastroke Relay was the best swim of the day having outstanding turns and starts. The Relay was Gabby DeKok, Hannah Sweet, Taylor Ingoli-Brown, and Brianna White.

The Lady Tides next meet is Friday Home vs. Janesville Craig at 5pm BMHS Natatorium.

Lady Tide lose Tough one to Parker

The Lady Tide battled to the end but came up a little short. Losing to Janesville Parker 92-76. The Tide was lead by Margo Grover's two 1st places in the 200 and 100 freestyles. Other 1st were by Emily Busan in the 500 free and the Medley Relay of Haley Thomas, Gabby DeKok, Grover and Busan. 2nd places by Busan 200 I.M., DeKok 100 Fly and 100 Breast, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay. 3rd Places Lauren Gurholt 500 Free, Maggie Ezdon 100 Back.

Timers Club Meeting

There will a Timers Club Meeting Thursday September 3rd after school in Coach Vogel's Office B102. We need to find out who needs shirts and who we need to replace, from last years seniors. We also need a new co-head timer. There are 4 home meets for the girls and 2 home meets for the boys. See Coach Vogel if you can not make the meeting. I know some of you are out for fall sports so I will keep the meeting brief.

The Girls Swim Team has its first home meet Friday September 3rd at 5pm in the natatorium.

Boys Swim Team Seniors Meeting

There will be a brief but important meeting Tuesday September 1st in my office after school. If you can not be there see me ASAP. I know this is the 1st day of school, so I will keep the meeting brief.

National Rankings

The Girls Swim Team won the National Gold Award for the 4th year in a row with a team GPA of 3.83. They were 1st in the Big 8 Conference 4th in the State and 11th overall in the USA of schools that sponsor girls swimming.

The Boys Swim Team won the National Silver Award for the 2nd time with a team GPA of 3.609. They were 2nd in the Big 8 Conference 3rd in the State and 16th overall in the USA of schools that sponsor boys swimming.

The boys swim team also finished 26th nationally in the dual meet power rankings for schools 1401 to 1900 student population.

The Lady Tide, Middle School Boys and Girls meet schedules are now listed on their web sites as PDF's. The Tide's schedule is still pending, waiting on a meet date. Hopefully will have it soon.

End of Summer Stats

This was the Krueger Summer Swim Team's fourth year and it was a GREAT Summer. Four years ago we started with 40 swimmers. This year we had over 100. We had swimmers in every age group and swam in 3 meets. I will be posting team records and top times for each swimmer on the team web-site as soon as school starts. One of my many goals for next year is to keep our numbers up, have more high school girls swimmers, team suits, and host a dual meet and invitational. Keep following blog and web-site. More Swimmers Awesome

Lady Tide now over 30 Swimmers. Remember practice is from 9-noon at Krueger. Still not to late to come out. If you do not make the girls Volleyball team, come on out and swim.

1st Day Great!!

Team Gathering Canceled. But what a Great Summer

We will not be gathering this coming Thursday Night. Due to vactions and other committements before the end of summer. WE will still do time trials at practice on Thursday and Friday. I do want to say that this was a GREAT Summer for the Tide. We had over 100 swimmers in the pool and a lot of fun. I will be posting team Records and other info on the team web-site when we get back to school. I want to thank all of you for making this program grow over the last four summers. Beloit swimming is on the way back!! I would like to thank the Coaches for all of their help; Coach DeKok, Coach Waite, Coach Matt and Coach Abby. REMEMBER THE TIDE IS RISING.
