School Board Honors Teams

   Gold Award 3.83
The School Board Honored our swim teams and All-American and All-State Swimmers Last Night. Pictures to be posted later.

The Girls Swim Team was honored for the National Gold Award for the fourth year in a row, GPA of 3.83.

The Boys Team was honored for their National Silver Award for a 3.609 GPA.

Coach Vogel Earns Certification

Coach Vogel is now certified to teach the Red Cross/United States Swimming Coaches Saftey Course.

Swim Team Visits Todd School

The Boys and Girls High School Teams visited Todd School. Promoting Swimming and Academics. Those Attending Academic All-American's Keke Butz and Tom Whitcomb. Academic All-Staters Morgan Hamilton, Amanda Hayes, Mitch Fillbach, and Austin Thomas. Also Dan Luebke, Mike McNulty, Jeremy Bishop, and Demitri Davis. They also watch the movie DREAMS OF GLORY

Todd School Presentation Permission Slip

Those Swimmers going to Todd School Monday April 20th 1st Block see Coach Vogel for Permission Slip. You must have permission to go, and all worked missed 1st block must be made up.

Boys and Girls Swim Teams to do Presentation

The High School Boys Swim Team will be doing a Presentation at Todd School Monday 4/20 1st Block. Team will be showing Dreams of Glory and talking about competitive swimming and our Lesson Program. We will also be having a sign up for future 6th graders for the Middle school swim team. See Coach Vogel if you can help out.

McGuire Aquatics Dual Meet

Add another meet to the Summer Schedule. McGuire Aquatics at Rockford Boylan on July 9th. More info soon.

Swim Teachers Training June 2nd

All swimmers who will be teaching swim lessons for the Purple Tide swim lesson program, we will have an In-service Tuesday June 2ND at 6:30 in the Natatorium Pool. This is a required meeting, it should last about 60-90 minutes. Remember those swimmers who teach swim lessons get a 50% discount on their team suit for next school season.

Summer Swim Lesson Information NOW AVAILIBLE!

Swim like the Purple Tide Swim Lesson information is now available. This years lessons will be June 10th thru the 12th. Lesson will be 55 minutes long and only $20. This year do to the short time frame, we promise that the will be very intense and still fun. We increased the time 10 minutes per lesson. Wednesdays lessons will be in the afternoon, with Thursdays and Fridays in the morning.
