The Tide started out a with a hic-up with a DQ of the A Medley Relay, but the B relay came through with a 2nd place.
In the 200 Freestyle Chance Murray, Alec Shu, and Justin Stanton finished 1,2,5
200 IM another big point event with a 1,2,5 finish. Christian Daniels led the way with a winning time of 2:08.89, Jose Cardneas had a great come from behind 2nd place swim and Joe Garetson grabbed the last point.
Caleb Schober swam his season best time in the 50 Free for 2nd place.
100 Butterfly Cody Schober brought home a big 2nd place, also getting 2nd in the 100 free Alec Shu with a season best swim.
The turning point in the meet was a 1, 2, 4 finish in the 500 Free, led by Chance Murray 5:28, Morgan Poepping 5:47 and Justin Stanton getting 2 big points.
The Tide would win the 200 Free Relay 1:39, with the team of Shu, Garetson, Schober, Daniels.
In the 100 Back Beloit finished 1, 3, 5 with Jose Cardenas swimming a lifetime best fo 1:01.7. Cody Schober pick up 3rd and Nick White 5th.
100 Breast was a very exciting race with Chiristian Daniels finishing 2nd by .08 with a time of 1:06.24.
Bring the meet down to the last event and the team pulling off a great swim.
The Tide is swimming Fast Tired and getting ready for the Championship Season which starts in two weeks.
This was the Varsity's 2nd dual win of the season. The J.V. also pick up the win bringing their record to 3 wins 3 loses. The J.V. was led by Tyler Dirksen's two wins in the 100 Fly and 100 Breast.
The Tides next meet is Saturday at Manitowoc Lincoln, this Coach Vogel's Al-mater. This will be his 1st time back to Manty for a swim meet 36 years. This is only his third time back to Manitowoc since graduating from high school.
