SATURDAY MARCH 31ST 

When: 9-10am Rally with Speakers and Music
           10-12am Canvassing in Beloit Neighborhoods


Where: Harry C. Moore Pavilion at Riverside Park


Join other educators, community members, friends, and families for a morning of education and action about the upcoming referendum. For the canvassing activity we would like as many people as possible to go door-to door in teams to share accurate information about what the referendum means to our students and community. We will have sign-up stations durning the rally to provide maps, scripts, and informational flyers to share with residents and voters. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of the next historic step in Beloit's revitalization!!

Day 1 of Speedo Meet

Christian swam in the 100 Meter Breaststroke Long Course (50meter Pool), time of 1:15.05.

He finished 48th.

His 200 IM was a 2:26.38, for 81st place.


Tomorrow Christian swims the 200 Breaststroke.

Purple Tide End of Season Awards

The Purple Tide held their end of season banquet today, over 150 people attended, making it one of our largest awards banquets ever.

35 swimmers started and finished the season.


21 swimmers received their Varsity Letter:

Final Thoughts

It was a great season, the future is bright. We must not rest on our laurels, we must continue the fight. We must get stronger, this team has tremendous talent returning and a strong incoming freshman class.
Remember what Coach Caldwell said, "Hard work beats talent every time, unless talent works hard". 


So there can not be an off season, we must live in that new strength and cardio facility and swim hard this summer (starting June 11).

Some goals to think about: 

10 State Qualifiers

Break all Varsity Records, they are to old.

Team Academic Gold Award 3.75

This can not happen without a lot of preparation, 

it must start NOW!!

Day 4

Christian and Madeline swam their last events today.


Madeline swam the Senior Women's 100 Free a lifetime best non-lead off swim of 55.60, finishing 28th. 


Christian swam the 100 backstroke in a lifetime best 56.82 finishing 21st., improving his time by over 2 seconds. He also swam the 200 IM in 2:02.34 finishing 11th. He was also a member of the BAT's 400 Free Relay that qualified for the Speedo Senior meet this coming weekend. Christian's split was a 50.97 again another PR.

Another Great Weekend for Beloit Swimmers.

Day 3 USA Swim WIsconsin State Meet

GREAT DAY!!

Christian Daniels Finished 8th in the 

200 Breaststroke 2:13.38

Prelims Today

200 Free Relay 50 Free split 22.54
200 Breaststroke 2:14.83, qualified 7th for finals.
200 Backstroke 2:04.17
400 Medley Back Split 57.70, Relay qualified for the Speedo Senior Meet next week.

Day 2 Finals

Christian Daniels (16, BAT) finished 8th in the 100 Breaststroke with a lifetime best time of 1:01.23. His 50 split was also a lifetime best split of 28.68. This is Christian's first State Medal.


Christian finished 10th in the 400 IM, moving up from his 21st seeding. 


Also swimming today was Madeline Franklin(17), of the Purple Tide and BAT. She finished 28th in the Senior 200 Free with a time of 2:03.13. This is Madeline's first State Meet, she swims again on Sunday in the 100 Freestyle.

USA Swim State Meet Day 2

Christian Daniels of the Purple Tide (swimming for BAT), qualified for the Finals of the 15-16 100 Breaststroke with a life-time best of 1:01.82. Christian qualified 8th for tonights finals.


Christian also swam the backstroke leg of the BAT's senior 200 Medley Relay, his split was 26.26, was also a life-time best.


In the 400 I.M. he improved his life-time best over 8 seconds with a time of 4:23.43. This is a time final event, so we won't know until the final is swam tonight, for his final placing.
