Kurt was a 3 time WIAA State Champion, Captain and participate on both of the Beloit's State Championship Teams.
Kurt won State Titles in the 500 Free sophomore year, 100 Free and was a member of the 400 Free Relay his senior year. The time for that relay is still a Purple Tide team record. He still also holds Varsity Records in the 200 Free and the 100 Free.
Kurt becomes the fourth Purple Tide swimmer to be inducted in the Beloit Hall of Fame. He joins his teammate from those championship years Ken Nuebauer (76), Melissa 'Brooke' Henderson (85), and Matt Miller (93).
The HOF Banquet is Thursday June 21st at the Beloit Historical Society at 6:00pm, Tickets are $25 dollars.
