NISCA Academic Rankings Released

The National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA), released its national rankings. Beloit Memorial Girls finished 5th National, 1st in the State of Wisconsin and Big 8 Conference. This is Beloit's highest ever ranking.

This is Beloit Lady TIDE's 8th straight Gold Award.

The Boys Team won the NISCA Silver Award for the 3rd straight year. The TIDE finished 3rd in the state behind Madison Edgewood and Appleton North. The TIDE was 1st in the Big 8 Conference. The TIDE's national ranking was 39th. The TIDE's Varsity GPA was a 3.606. University of Wisconsin bound Kevin Nguyen was also named Wisconsin Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (WISCA) Academic All-State.

As a state Wisconsin finished 2nd with 23 schools ranked, with Michigan with 26. Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas tied for 3rd with 22 schools. 

There are over 12,000 high schools both public and private that sponsor swimming in the USA.
