WIAA Middleton Sectional Summary

What an outstanding day for the TIDE today. Like I always say, it's not February yet and we have been outstanding in February again. The TIDE finished 7th out of 12 with all 12 swimmers scoring points.

Chance Murray and Caleb Schober qualified for the WIAA State Meet next Saturday. This will be Caleb's third state meet and Chance's first. 

Caleb qualified in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:00.82 4th fastest in school history, finishing 2nd.
Chance Murray qualified in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 4:59.81 5th fastest in school history, finishing 8th.

The team swam 100% on its season best times, with 90% on lifetime best swims. Christian Schober also stood on the podium today with and 8th place in the 100 Back with a 58.46 the 10 fastest in school history. The 9th place 200 Free Relay of Christian Schober, Justin Stanton, Chance Murray, Caleb Schober finished with a 1:33.99 the 8th fastest swim in school history.

200 IM: 13th Jackson Prowse 2:16.55, 14th Andrew DeKok 2:17.41, 16th Tyler Dirksen 2:18.77

100 Fly: 13th Justin Stanton 59.43, Killian Chamberlain 1:05.17

500 Free: 16th Andrew DeKok 5:18.94

100 Back: 15th Jose Cardenas 1:00.45, Jason Schroeder 1:06.32

100 Breast: 15th Jackson Prowse 1:07.07, Morgan Poepping 1:08.10

400 Free Relay: 10th Tyler Dirksen, Andrew DeKok, Jason Schroeder, Morgan Poepping 3:37.19
