TIDE 3rd at Platteville
The TIDE swam to a 3rd place finish at the Platteville invitational Saturday.
TIDE swimmers did a GREAT Job of representing Beloit both in and out of the pool.
All swimmers placed in the meet and we had many medalist. Lead by our 13-14 Girls and Boys. This age group won all four relays and had many 1st places, and meet records. We also sweep several events, and again the IM events were our biggest strengths.

Platteville Last Notes Before Meet
Be at Platteville Family Aquatic Center by 7:15 am
Warm-up starts at 7:30am
Meet 8:30am
Over around Noon.
Bring Towels, suit, goggles, caps, sleeping bag.
If anyone has canopy that would be a help to keep kids out of sun.
Several swimmers had to drop out of meet do to their ball teams keep winning. So make sure before you leave when you are done individual events that you are not in relays.
Lets have FUN, Cheer on your teammates, and Represent Beloit with Pride.

Due to Forecasted Morning Temps. All Groups will Practice at High School in morning, at your regular times. Afternoon practice will be at high school, because of Code Meeting.

TIDE 2nd at Rockford Open
The Beloit TIDE swam in the 61st Rockford Open.
50 swimmers and 1 Diver participated in Sunday's meet. The TIDE were Great representatives of the Beloit community. 40 of the 50 athletes medaled with 12 1st places.
Again Beloit Dominated the Individual Medleys, Fly and Breast Events.
In 8 IM events the TIDE won 22 medals, finishing 1st and 2nd in the 10&U girls and 1, 4, 5, 6 in the 13-14 girls. In the 15 -18 girls IM the TIDE finished 1st and 3rd. 13-14 Boys finished 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and the 15-18 Boys finished 3, 4, 5, 6 in their IM races. The better we do in the IM the Better a Team we become.

If weather is stormy meet will be at Rockford Boylan.

Beloit TIDE Women #1 in State Again
The National Rankings for Academics for swimming were recently released by NISCA this past week.
Beloit Memorial again is ranked as one of the top programs in the country.
The TIDE Women were ranked #9 in the country tied with Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga California, with a team GPA of 3.904. Number 1 in the country was du Pont Manuel Louisville Kentucky with a GPA 3.987.
The TIDE Women were #1 in the WIAA and the BIG 8. Other schools ranked from the BIG 8 and the WIAA were Madison West, Racine Case, Brookfield East, Madison Edgewood, Nicole High School, Plymouth, Oshkosh West, and LadySmith.
This the 9th year in a row the TIDE Women have won the GOLD Award.
The boys team was ranked 25th in the country, 2nd in the WIAA, and 1st in the BIG 8 Conference, with a GPA of 3.716. Number 1 in the country was Albuquerque Academy in New Mexico with a GPA of 3.997. Number #1 in the WIAA was Sheboygan North High School with a 3.897.
This the 9th year in a row the TIDE has won the Academic Award.

Afternoons Monday through Thursday
4:00pm to 6:00pm
Middle and 8 & Under Same Schedule as Usual.
Keep some things in mind.
The Professional Educators; Coach Vogel, Coach DeKok, Coach Truby, Coach Abby, Coach Lisa, and Coach Brian are required to be at School District of Beloit Meeting Thursday and Friday.
Coach Christian, Coach Maggy, and Coach Taylor will be in Charge of Senior and Middle Practices. Coach Lindsey and Coach Alyssa will run 8 and under practice.
On Thursday and Friday if it storms practices are canceled since we will not be able to move inside due to the lack of professional educators to supervise high school pool.
