TIDE Crush Parker

The Lady Tide swam past Janesville Parker 105-65.

The Tide won 8 of 11 events, with the ladies scoring everyone of their swimmers in every event.

The Tide was led by double individual winners Madeline Franklin(12) in the 200 and 100 free, and CeCe Cardenas(9) in the 200 IM and 500 Free. Other Individual 1st places Caroline Locke(9) in the 100 Fly and Morgan Makinen(11) in the 100 Breaststroke. 

The Other two wins came in the 200 Free and 400 Free Relays. Members of the 200 relay were Kallie Oldenburg(11), Makinen, Maggie Gianvecchio(9), Franklin. The 400 Free Relay swimmers, Gianvecchio, Cardenas, Locke, and Franklin.

After Parker won the 200 Medley in which Beloit finished 2nd and 3rd. Beloit came back with a 1,2,3 sweep in the 200 Free, lead by Franklin in a season best 2:04.79, 2nd went to Caroline Locke and 3rd to Lexi Taylor(10), giving Beloit a lead it would never relinquish. 

CeCe's 500 Free of 5:52.30 moved her up to 13th on the All-Time Purple Tide list. 
Other outstanding swims:
Diane Meason(11) 2nd in both the 200 IM 2:41.97 and 100 Back 1:10.22
Maggy Locke(11) 3rd in both the 500 Free and 100 Back and anchoring the 3rd place 400 Free Relay. (Tough Triple)
2nd Place 200 Medley Relay was the 11th fastest time in Tide history 2:06.94; Meason, Makinen, Cardenas, Oldenburg.
Kallie Oldenburg 2nd in the 50 Free
Maggie Gianvecchio 3rd in both the 50 Free and 100 Free.
Sarah Koth 3rd in 100 Breaststroke.

J.V. TIDE won 103-50, also winning 8 of 11 events.

The Tide's next meet is tomorrow at the Elkhorn Invitational. Meet starts at 10am.
Next Dual Meet is next Friday at Beloit College against Janesville Craig. Meet starts at 5pm.
