Good Weekend for the TIDE HS Boys

The TIDE finished their tough weekend with a 2nd place finish at the Stoughton High School College Events meet. It was the TIDE's 3rd meet in three days.

Thursday the TIDE won it's first ever Rock County Championship, Friday split a double dual beating Madison East 138-32, losing to Middleton 104-66. In the East half of the meet Beloit won 9 of 11 events. Sweeping the Free Relays, 500, 200 Free, 200 IM, and 100 Fly.

Saturday the TIDE finished 2nd behind Wisconsin D2 power McFarland.

Beloit had many outstanding swims and season best times. Jim Santas broke his sophomore record in the 200 back with a 2nd place time of 2:17.06.

The TIDE like Thursday night placed many swimmers in the top 8 in every event, again having great depth. Beloit also had 4 swimmers medal in the meet. Beloit also beat Sun Prairie who had beaten the TIDE in their first meet of the season.

The TIDE's next meet is Friday at Home for Parents Night vs. Janesville Craig.
