The Law of the Price Tag (Winning)

The cost of being part of a winning team:
1. Sacrifice:  “He who would accomplish little sacrifice little, he who would achieve much must sacrifice much” - James Allen    You can be sure that no matter how much you expect to give for the team, at some point you will be required to give more in order to improve.  The team gets to the top only through sweat, blood, and sacrifice of its members.
2. Time Commitment:  It may not always be convenient but it is crucial in order for you to continue to improve.
3. Personal development:  The only way the team reaches its potential is if you reach your potential.   “ We cannot become what we need to be, by remaining what we are.” – Max Depree The desire to keep striving, to keep getting better, is a key to your own ability, but is crucial for the betterment of the team.  “It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts” –John Wooden
4.  Unselfishness:  If you give your best to the team, it will return more to you than you give it, and together you will achieve    more than you can on your own.
There are only 2 kinds of teams who violate the law of the price tag:
    1.  Those who don’t realize what the price is
2.  Those who realize the price, but are not willing to pay it.
Commit to the process.  Love the Grind.  Win Everyday.
