We experience Lows and Highs, all with in 24 hours.
Friday we dropped a close meet to our rival Janesville Craig 87-83. We lost some very close races, but overall swam some very good times, most notably Andrew DeKok's 51.8 100 free.
Saturday in our annual pilgrimage to Manitowoc, was an example of why you get another day sometimes. At Manty we brought our passion and that Purple TIDE attitude. Again we had consistent improvement, placing our swimmers in the top 8 in every event but one. Our depth really paid off big dividends and our trust in each other. I felt at the beginning that we had a chance to win this year, but to move up from 3rd to 1st in the last event was not how I envisioned our win.
Yesterday we came together as a team and we now need to continue this through to Sectionals and State.
